Who We Are
In the modern world, the cycle of searching for external validation is becoming more and more prominent supporting the belief system that we need other people to help us, to support us, to heal us.
Whilst connection within our community is an integral part to self-healing, it is our mission to help each person become empowered to make the connection with ‘self’ and the ‘community within’ before looking externally.
It has been my experience, whilst walking the Shamanic pathway that often, we find our medicine in our sickness. This is something which only we, as the individual can discover. Therefore, it is important that we can connect with the self, before we connect with others.
As spirituality appears more accessible, we often find ourselves bonding throughout our communities and circles, however inauthentic practices can provide a space for ‘trauma-tracting’ where healing cannot take place.
As a community, we can only truly support one another’s healing journey, when we as individuals, have healed ourselves. Understanding the root cause of our thoughts, feelings and actions can help us to understand how our personal belief systems have been shaped over many years.
The greatest gifts of the medicine woman are those which she has acquired when learning to heal herself. Without her sickness she cannot discover her medicine.
